In these tough times it is normal for there to be a spike of anxiety, stress or fear due to the Covid-19 reaching the US with the closing of many businesses and regular activities. The Government has taken many precautions to contain the Covid-19 virus from spreading further, but the anxiety in people is not going to magically go away. With each passing day it will only increase, to combat anxiety we have some personal exercises / precautions you can take to avoid extra stress or worry.
One of the most important tips to stay calm during a global outbreak is to only seek information from reliable government hosted websites such as the CDC.gov. With the recent increase in misleading articles on social media, it is best to avoid social media as a news source and use it for interaction with loved ones only.
The World Health Organization has recommended to try to keep your personal daily routines as much as possible when you are isolated. As social human beings with a need for social interaction, in cases like this is where social media is good to be able to talk to friends and family.
During isolation, you should engage in healthy activities that you find enjoyable. Focus your time on activities that will take your mind off the stress and worrying about the Covid-19 virus. Have a nice family movie night, play board games/video games with your children, complete gym exercises to stay healthy, or any other activity that works well for you.
Facing reality that you have no control over this outbreak can be a stepping stone into bettering your mental health. Once you accept it you can focus on things that will better you such as personal hygiene, creating a new hobby, learning a trade, and/or getting the well needed rest.

Skype hypnotherapy sessions over the internet can provide the comfort and security you seek from a therapist but via video. You will be doing the same thing as during an office visit, listening to the hypnotist’s voice with your eyes closed, and interestingly, it can be even more relaxing and effective because you are sitting in your own home, on one of your very own comfortable chairs or couches.
Phone sessions will encompass everything you need in regular sessions but over the phone. With Jeffrey Rose in your own home, office, or any other area you feel comfortable enough to speak over the phone. This can be done from any town or country you live in.
